Traditional permanent ladders have hoops or cages to give the user confidence during use. These do not offer fall protection. In such cases vertical guide rails can be retrofitted to provide continuous connection during ascent and descent
The guide rail can be positioned centrally by fixing to the existing rungs or to the side by fixing to the ladder stiles.
All GlideLoc Travellers are compatible with our ladder systems and guide rails.
GlideLoc Horizontal Rail
Tested and certified in accordance with the requirements of EN795 for the use of up to 3 persons, the GlideLoc horizontal rail is an ideal solution for overhead applications. It can also be attached to our ladder systems through a turntable – ideal for accessing the circumference of stacks, lighthouses etc.
